Summer Stuff Day Camps Staff

Our Counselor in Training program was started many years ago to provide an opportunity for young people to make a real-life contribution to others through volunteering. CITs are responsible for assisting staff with various tasks related to the creation of our camp environment. The ability to engage with and act as a positive role model to our young campers is vital to this role.

We welcome motivated teens ages 11-14 (entering 6th - 8th grades) who are eager to give back to their community, work with children, and embrace the spirit of teamwork. While we do have a few requirements, no prior experience is necessary.  We provide training and support to help you excel in your role.

If you are interested in joining our CIT program, please read the Counselors in Training Letter here and follow the instructions for the new application process. Please note that any returning CITs must have a positive evaluation from last summer in order to be considered for this summer.

Once you have completed the application process, you’ll be notified of your acceptance and given next steps to complete your file and pay CIT fees.

CIT applications will be available March 1st, 2025.
